* He arrived in the band later when Janne decide to leave music behind and travel to find peace. Until this time Aki sold T-Shirts for the band during their live performances.
* He believes that playing drums is the only thing he is any good at.
* He suffers from vertigo, and is quoted as having said that the Eiffel Tower was 'awful' because it's so high!
* He loves cats. He's used to have cats and rats!
* He HATES to be alone, and says he doesn't care about crying in public.Lauri has once stated (in YAM magazine): "Aki is very sensitive. He finds it easy to cry which is something I envy about him because I can't".
* He learn't drums in School but stopped as he thought it killed his creativity!
